Overview

Learn how to manage your TradieLink account settings, update your profile information, and maintain account security.

Accessing Account Settings

To access your account settings:

  1. Sign in to your TradieLink dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account Settings
  3. Or click your profile icon and select Account Settings

Profile Management

Updating Your Profile Information

In the Account Settings page, you can update:

Personal Information:

  • Full Name: Your display name across the platform
  • Email Address: Your primary contact email

Changing Your Email Address

To update your email address:

  1. In the Change Email section, enter your new email address
  2. Click "Update Email"
  3. The change will be applied immediately

Important Notes:

  • Update any saved bookmarks with your new login credentials
  • Inform team members of the email change if you have shared access

Password Management

Changing Your Password

To update your password:

  1. Scroll to the Change Password section
  2. Enter your new password in the "New Password" field
  3. Confirm your password in the "Confirm New Password" field
  4. Click "Update Password"

Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Include uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Include at least one number
  • Include at least one special character

Password Security Tips

  • Use a unique password not used elsewhere
  • Consider using a password manager
  • Update passwords regularly (every 3-6 months)
  • Never share your password with others

Security Settings

Sign Out All Devices

For enhanced security, you can sign out of all devices:

  1. In the Security section, find "Sign out of all devices"
  2. Click the "Sign Out All Devices" button
  3. Confirm the action in the popup dialog

When to use this feature:

  • If you suspect unauthorized access
  • After using a public or shared computer
  • When changing passwords
  • If you've lost a device with saved login

  • Regular Monitoring: Check your account activity regularly
  • Secure Connections: Always use HTTPS when accessing your account
