Learn how to use TradieLink's analytics dashboard to track your business page performance, understand customer behavior, and optimize your online presence.
Accessing Your Analytics
To view your analytics:
- Sign in to your TradieLink dashboard
- Navigate to Admin > Analytics
- Or find "Analytics" in your main dashboard
Understanding Your Analytics Dashboard
Key Performance Metrics
Your analytics dashboard displays essential metrics:
Page Views:
- Total number of times your pages were viewed
- Includes repeat visits from the same visitor
- Shows overall traffic volume to your business
Unique Visitors:
- Number of individual people who visited your pages
- Excludes repeat visits from same person
- Indicates your actual audience reach
Average Time on Page:
- How long visitors spend viewing your content
- Longer times indicate engagement
- Helps assess content quality and interest
Total Enquiries:
- Number of contact forms submitted
- Direct measure of lead generation
- Key conversion metric for your business
Filtering Options
Business Filter: Filter analytics by specific business:
- All Businesses: Combined analytics across all your business pages
- Individual Businesses: Select specific business pages to analyze
- Use the business selector to focus on particular services or locations
Date Range Selector: Use the date range buttons to analyze specific periods:
- Last 7 days: Week-over-week performance
- Last 30 days: Monthly trends and patterns
- Last 90 days: Quarterly business analysis
Daily Activity & Event Tracking
Daily Activity Summary
The Daily Activity section shows daily performance metrics:
- Date: Each day's activity summary
- Views: Total page views for that day
- Enquiries: Contact form submissions
- Contacts: Direct contact attempts
Event Types Analysis
The Event Types section tracks different user interactions:
Page Load:
- When someone first visits your page
- Initial page load events
- Shows total page load occurrences
Page View:
- Total page views across all visitors
- Includes repeat views from same visitor
- Primary engagement metric
Page Leave:
- When visitors exit your page
- Helps understand bounce rate
- Shows engagement duration
Form Interaction:
- Contact form interactions
- Field focus and blur events
- Form engagement tracking
Request Metrics

The Request Metrics section shows different types of customer inquiries:
Quote Requests:
- Potential job opportunities

Booking Requests:

Contact Clicks:
- Direct contact attempts

Recent Activity Log
Real-Time Activity Tracking
The Recent Activity section provides detailed, chronological event tracking:
Event Details:
- Event Name: Specific action taken (Page Load, Page View, Form Interaction)
- Event Type: Category of interaction (page_load, page_view, form_interaction)
- Business: Which business page the event occurred on
- Timestamp: Exact date and time of the event
