Getting Started: Account Creation and Setup

Overview

This guide will walk you through creating your TradieLink account and getting started with your free 14-day trial.

Creating Your Account

Step 1: Sign Up

  1. Navigate to the TradieLink signup page
  2. Fill in your account details:
    • Full Name: Your business owner name
    • Email Address: Use a professional email address
    • Password: Create a strong, secure password
    • Confirm Password: Re-enter your password

Signup Screen

  1. Click the "Create account" button
  2. Check your email for verification instructions

Step 2: Email Verification

  • Look for an email from TradieLink in your inbox
  • Click the verification link to activate your account
  • Your 14-day free trial will begin immediately

Signing In to Your Account

TradieLink offers multiple ways to sign in for your convenience:

Option 1: Sign In with Password

Sign In Options

  1. Go to the sign-in page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Select "Sign in with password"
  4. Enter your password and click "Sign in"

Option 2: Magic Link (Passwordless)

Magic Link Screen

  1. Go to the sign-in page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Select "Sign in with magic link"
  4. Click "Send magic link"
  5. Check your email for a secure sign-in link
  6. Click the link in your email to log in instantly

Password Reset

If you've forgotten your password:

  1. On the sign-in page, click "Forgot your password?"
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click "Send reset link"
  4. Check your email for password reset instructions
  5. Follow the link to create a new password

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Email verification not received:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Ensure you entered the correct email address
  • Try requesting a new verification email

Can't sign in:

  • Verify your email address is correct
  • Try the password reset option
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies

Magic link not working:

  • Check that you're using the same browser/device
  • Ensure the link hasn't expired (links are valid for 1 hour)
  • Try requesting a new magic link
